My wife moved into The Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care. Her room is fairly spacious. She doesn't have much in her room. We have to furnish it ourselves. There's a small bed and a dresser that were left in there. We've moved into a rocking chair and a little dorm-sized refrigerator. It's a very large room. It had a complete bathroom. There's a closet with a sliding wooden door. My wife says the food is good and that they treat her well. They have something different scheduled every day. They have games and go to music therapy. The staff members are very caring. I can tell that they want what's best for my wife, even if it's contrary to what I want. They're very professional about it. It's very secure, caring, and professional. The only thing I would have a complaint about was that she was washed, but her hair wasn't fixed very well. They said they didn't have a hairdresser. They had to hire a new one. The grounds need a little bit of work. It's expensive, but we have the insurance.
