We moved into the Sorento Apartments. We love our apartment. It's beautiful and totally renovated. They are now in the process of renovating all the apartments. The staff members are OK. I can't say they were excellent. When we first made contact with them, they were very shorthanded, so it took us a while to get in. Right now, the only big complaint I have is that we're on the second floor, and the elevator has been out for a week. I'm very happy with the remodeling they've done. It's lovely. I have all new appliances, like ceiling fans, lights, and flooring. Everything's been painted, so it's very pretty. We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is very spacious. We have our own washer and dryer. There's a little area for a desk. They have Meals on Wheels that come, and they require that you eat in the facility that they have so that the people who are alone are not left alone in their apartment. I thought that was a really nice thing that they were doing. There is a separate building where they can do yoga, arts, and different things like that. They don't have food here. There's a swimming pool, too, that they totally redid, and it's beautiful.

When me and my wife moved in 5 years ago my rent has gone up 5 times it is no longer a senior citizen apartments when we first moved in it was a great place in the evening all seniors came out and greeted with each other pets played around and now they have all moved out why because of all the changes rent going up the office staff don't care about the renters they used to but no more we have more young people with whole families living in a small apartment they always drive through the parking lot at all hours in the night with loud music people from all over dump there trash here the gate never closes we have break-ins a person was killed in the parking lot they used to go by your income the younger people have taken over I told them about a guy that keeps parking on the fire lane and he still does it because they know nobody is going to do about it you can't say nothing because of you do they come after you if I had the money or strength to move I would we have paid our debts we deserve to live out the rest of our lives we thought it was here what a big lie all my friends have moved out the new apartments they look like crap it is full of bad workmanship and they know it but refuses to fix anything I have seen apartments with the floor coming apart and the women suffered a stroke so it's hard for her to walk around because of the floor coming apart is anyone really going to listen probably not because Sorento doesn't care anymore
