My mom is in Kountze Nursing Center. At this point I'm very pleased with how she's been taken care of. It's a small facility, and they took really good care of everyone when they had to evacuate for the hurricane. I've been pleased overall with the facility as far as their communication and the things they communicated to me about my mom. They've been really good to me.

This is a very nice small town facility with a homey atmosphere. The staff seem pleasant and well-informed - and very attentive to the residents. The facility seems well run and very clean. The common areas smell very fresh, and at each visit I have seen the head housekeeper on the floor, monitoring and correcting issues. It is my understanding that the facility received no deficiencies on the last state review.
