"My father was at this facility for 7 years. He was always taken care of. Rooms are nice and large. Activities are available. My siblings and I were there a lot and never saw any problems. No complaints on the food. I have also eaten the food. If it is not something you like they will have something else for you if you let them know. All of the nurses and faculty are friendly, helpful and willing to help in any way. I realize during COVID some activities, etc had to be limited. My father was kept clean and his room was clean. My father decided to go there on his own to be close to my mom. He never had complaints. I would recommend Swan Manor to anyone. I thank them for taking care of him. "

"I've been in Villas at Alexander Bay for almost three years now. This is a senior facility, but they are apartments. You have to be at least 55 and above. You have a Family Dollar right across the street. CVS and Walgreens is only two blocks from here. They have a Kroger grocery store that's right across the street from CVS. Everything is really convenient in this area. There's a Burger King right in front of the building. It has two to three different restaurants, and they're all within walking distance. I love the apartment. I have a two-bedroom, two-bath. If I have any issues, I report them to the office, and maintenance will come and fix them. Everybody has a different floor plan. Some have a one-bedroom, one-bath. I'm on the corner lot of the second building. I have a front door and a back door. There's a swimming pool that's available during the summer, and they have an exercise room in the office. There's a computer area. If you need to print out anything, you can go in there. We have a fence, and the family that lives on the other side of the fence tore it down, and that's something I don't like. Other than that, it's OK. I've been here three years, and I've seen three different people in the office. They don't seem to stay long. They have a new one in the office now. The staff in the office is really nice. I don't know why they don't stay. They have activities every month."

"Baytown was a little bit better, pleasant, it had a good entryway, and you don't get that scent of sickness. I knew people that stayed there, and again, the problem was the lack of staff. The staff member that showed me around was very friendly, and was willing to answer questions about the facility. They have physical therapy, activities for the residents that can attend, and they keep them engaged. They have people come in and do shows for them."

"My Mother has been a resident of this facility for well over a year and the Staff and Management are the most caring and courteous people anyone could ever meet. They are conscience of the patients needs that I have seen and extend excellent care to my Mother. They call to notify me and my wife for everything related to her and her care and keep us fully update with any Doctor proposed medicine changes or even if she has the slightest changes to her condition. We are proud that she receives the level of caring the Staff provides, and know of no reason why these other posts have been made. "Rolling Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was OK, convenient, nice, very pretty, new, and clean. The staff was very kind. My mother-in-law turned out to be more advanced in her Alzheimer's than what they were prepared to take care of. The staff was not adequate for her. We were just in the wrong place. They had semi-private rooms with private bathrooms and plenty of storage. They had an activity director and adequate staff for most of the people that were there. She just wasn't a good fit for them, which we didn't know when we placed her there. She kept trying to escape, but that wasn't their fault. The food was good."

"I am currently living in Birdsong Place in a handicap apartment. It is a gated community without apartment doors open to the outside. The doors leading outside the hall are locked every night at 9:00 p.m. You have to have a key to get inside. It's very well secured, and the lighting is excellent all the way around. The parking is very good, with no assigned spots. Most people are mobile, but there are many others in wheelchairs. It is a pet-friendly place. It was a good thing I made my way out here since it's the nicest facility that I've ever been in. We have bingo three or four times a week, Bible study on Tuesday, and movies almost every day at 2:30 p.m. They periodically have potluck dinners and Thanksgiving dinner. My living room, bedroom, and closet are really large, but I'm having trouble maneuvering in the kitchen. I have not heard a single bad thing about it. "

"My relative moved into The Lodge at Pine Creek. They have a very helpful staff. It's a beautiful facility. Everything was great. The only thing I saw was the hair salon. It's a little bit more expensive than some of the others, but their amenities are really nice."

"The nurses at Cedar Bayou Rehab have been really good, but I'm not crazy about the business side of it. The people in the office offer no communication, and they don't get your paperwork done. They really need somebody else in the office to take care of the business side. My mother-in-law participates in nail grooming, bingo, and little group activities where they play games. She gets three meals a day."

"Arboretum of Winnie is a very nice nursing home. They keep my husband nice and clean. He likes it there. He has Alzheimer's and is not alert, but they are all very good to him. They entertain him, and the nurses read the paper to him every day. It is really good. I don't have any complaints at all. The food is very good. My husband doesn't get to participate in a lot of things because he is in a locked facility, but they play bingo, have music and entertainment that comes in, and hold church service. We put my husband there in January."

"The one I liked was The Villas at Rollingbrook. It was very nice. They had everything. The staff was very friendly. They had garages in the apartments, and they had elevators. They had a common room like an activity center, lots of activities, and a pool. There was nothing they need to improve on. I liked everything about it. They had a bus stop outside if you wanted to use the bus. The apartments were really nice. They had built in washers & dryers right there in the apartments, and it was gated. "

"Mom knows somebody that's living there at Wyndham Park and the price was more affordable. The staff was just a little busy and was in a hurry to give us the information. They had activities. They had a gym. They've got a little porch, microwave oven, and a two-bedroom, one with a walk-in shower, the other with a tub."

"My mom is at Alexander Hall of Saint James House, and it is very good. The food is not very good though. It is an independent living place, so they don't have a lot of staff, but the nursing home attached to it does. They have the availability of eating in the dining room, and they have activities. They have birthday parties, seasonal parties, and sometimes they have wine tasting. They used to have field trips once a month, but since Covid, they have not."
