My mom is in Valley View Assisted Living in Whitwell. I love that she's within 15 minutes from me so I can be there for her. All of the staff have been extremely nice and helpful. I have not tried the food but I've seen it with my mom. She has not complained about it and everything looks good. The building is an older one but they keep it clean. For activities, I think it's something different every day. They have all kinds of things like the special they had for Halloween last week. They have something coming up for Thanksgiving and they're also decorating for Christmas so they always have something going on. She tells me about some of the things that they've done. They also go outside and she loves that.

It is a cage within a cage. I have been here almost a year now we have a van that goes out once a month if that for a scenic ride of about two hours

We placed my brother-in-law in Valley View. The staff was nice, the shared rooms are adequate, and he thinks the food is very good. It was very easy to get to, they have a lot of sing-along, games, and Bingo. It looks like they have something to do every day. I think the price is reasonable.

Valley View assisted living was really nice. I went there to look over because my other aunt could afford such a facility. It was very nice, very clean, the people were happy, and it was spacious. They were very helpful in trying to help me get my aunt in there.
