About Trousdale Senior Living Center in Hartsville, Tennessee
Assistance with ADL's, 3 home cooked meals per day is provided with snacks when needed. Organized activity programs provided daily. These activities consist of games, exercise, religious programs, trips outside the building into the community, group and individual activities, family functions, music, etc.
We are a small community having only 1 level, no stairs to climb or elevator to operate. The facility is located in a rural community with a population of around 7ooo people. Located in the rolling hills of middle Tennessee. The view from our front porch is comparable to the view of Gatlinburg.

We toured Trousdale Senior Living Center. Everybody there was really nice, and my uncle still had the freedom to come and go. He'll be able to take his vehicle up there, and there's no set time for visitors, just anytime. It's very clean, super clean. The staff was very good and answered all the questions we had, telling us everything about everything they do. They supply all three meals a day. They have a big TV in the dining room area for the residents to watch the news and different events. They line up a lot of different activities throughout the week for them to all get together and do.

We were really pleased with Trousdale Senior Living Center. They took great care of my mom while she was there. The staff was amazing and very helpful. She did like line dancing, and she had her hair done, but she was only in there for a few months. The food was good.
Provider Response
We are a small facility which makes each individual person very important to us. The staff knows each persons likes and dislikes. We treat each one with respect and like family. I feel our activities are a huge asset to our facility.
I am happy to know the person had these nice comments about our care while her loved one was here.

Upon my first visit to this facility I noticed that they patients seemed very happy. I noticed that on one instance that a female resident was having a bad day was confused, and asking for her dead husband; the tech that was taking care of that female resident sat down with her and talked to her o comfort her. Many of the residents were up and enjoying activites. This was very refreshing to see. I highly recomend this facility for a happy healthy family member.
