Staff members, for the most part, were friendly and the facility appeared to be very clean. My first impression upon entering the facility was very positive.The staff was very compassionate with my relative. They treated her as an important human being, something that does not happen in all nursing homes. She was not always easy to care for. The patience shown towards her was much appreciated. Her needs were taken care of and her requests were honored whenever possible. The food was less than impressive, but it is probably very difficult to serve extremely appealing food in a facility with so many people to feed each meal. I do understand this. There were activities that appealed to the general population of the facility. This was good to see as well.
