This nursing home was very clean. It had a very large common area with a piano for the residents. Each resident had their own room and could be someone dependent. The grounds of the nursing home were along side a river. This gave the elderly residents a nice view and serene place to live. The nursing staff was friendly and helpful. They were accomodating to the volunteers and to the guests. The equipment seemed to be faily new, at least within the last 5-10 years. Nothing looked out dated. Residents were clean and seemed reasonably content with their living situations. The common area was used for other events for the community which im sure helped raise their revenue to help provide for the residents. The volunteer organization was very well organized and well rounded. Did not see any meals being provided so I am not sure how the nutritional aspect of the facility was.

I had a loved one in the there. Complained of the food cold or luke warm. The communication between staff and staff and staff and family was not very good. Medicine was not given on time. Workers talked to the residents like they were dogs with no respect. Some of the nurses was rude. Rooms do not look like the pictures on the website.

I didn’t like the way they treated my friend at Bayview. She had things stolen, and they were rude. Her room was fine with just a single bed, a small closet, a dresser, and a tiny bathroom. It just wasn’t a nice place. I think the staff was not good and did not take care of her.
