The facility is beautiful. But the staff is questionable. My friend stayed there for 6 days for respite care and was never bathed or I dont think his pull up ever changed. They lost all his clothes and we were unable to get some recovered.

Since it is covid 19 time in 2021 I am unable to say what the inside of this place is like. I can state there is some caring people who work here and a lot more who don't care. The care for my family member has been substandard at best. I have tried to speak to them about my concerns and they give you a "we will correct it right away" speech and then do nothing. Some in here are down right abusive and they literally lie about what they are doing for your loved one. I have been trying to reach the head person in charge but they keep transferring me to different departments knowing that they will be in trouble if I get to enter my complaint. Don't leave your loved one there during this time. As soon as I can get mine out, I will explain everything in detail along with names of bad employees but I can't do that now because they will hurt my loved one.

if Your loved one needs help going to the bathroom or eating please do not let them go here. They do not answer the call bells. My mother sat for hours with the anxiety of having to use the restroom after having rang the call bell, and sat for hours in the dirty diaper. Even wh we would go to get someone they would not come. They only came up with excuses then just left her that way till shower time. This place should actually be shut down. I cannot Definitively say this is why she got the infection and died or if it was that the cancer took its toll but I can say they made her last3 weeks alive anxiety filled and miserable

I believe over the past few years the service at this facility has significantly declined. The ratio of staff to clients is not enough and sometimes the nurses aides can have up to 17 people if they are short staffed. When this occurs, the clients are not getting the proper care that they deserve. I have gone in there on a few occasions and found my grandmother lying in a urine soaked bed because they did not "have time" to get to her yet. Also, her glasses have become misplaced and broken on at least three occasions. When this has happened, my mother has had to argue with the social worker to get her glasses replaced. This is unacceptable in my book as it is their fault. I will say that a few of the nurses aides that work there are great, but most of them have an attitude when you ask them a question. I think that significant improvments need to made at this facility as it is a home to the clients that live there.

Along with having a friend who resided at this facility I was also employed by this facility a few years ago. My experience with Fairview Manor was a positive one. The patients were treated very well, the staff was caring and most of them went above and beyond the call of duty. The facility has 2 very friendly cats that roam the building and the patient's seem to really enjoy that. I also enjoyed how everyday they had special activities planned for the patient's that included anything from arts and crafts to karaoke and Every Friday was the ice cream shop day which took place in the front lobby and everyone looked forward to that every week! I thought it was very smart how they scheduled meals; they had two lunch times and two breakfast times based on every patient's level of assistance so that everyone would have the right amount of help. Overall Fairview Manor is one of the best Assisted Living Facility's I'd ever worked in and been to.

I've been truly impressed with the care my family member has recieved since his admission on June 7th. Every question has been answered and every request attended to immediately. The staff seem genuinely caring and concerned. The facility is clean and has a Pleasant smell. We couldn't be happier.
