"I chose Brookdale Redmond for my mother-in-law because it is closer to home, and they seem to be extremely compassionate with their patients. The gentleman that we spoke to was Joe, and the patients that were there all went out of their way to say hi and were friendly with him. At every single point in time, he said that they can contact him for any type of assistance, whether they want a snack or they need help going somewhere. To me, that was really good. I also was told that they have some patients who click their button just because they want to talk. To me, that is extreme support for their clients and genuinely caring for their well-being and just helping them through each day as it comes. The facility itself seems to be very clean. They are very considerate as to how mobile their clients are as to whether they are put on the first or the second floor. Their rooms are very good sizes and extremely clean. After every move-out, they completely clean the whole room, and they also replace the carpets to ensure cleanliness. I haven't tried the food yet, but they have a wide range to select from than all of the other places that we have looked at. I believe they have seven different items they could choose for each meal. Overall, it's been an extremely easy and supportive transition with them, and Joe is amazing to work with."

"My mother lives in The Heights for several years. They are absolutely wonderful. I will recommend them for anybody's parents who can no longer take care of themselves. They are so great with my mother. The staff is just incredible and caring, and as difficult as my mother is, they never lost their patience with her. They take care of her and other residents there in the facility who are also very generous and kind. I just can't say enough about how grateful we are for the care that they give to my mother. "

"We are choosing Regency Village at Prineville for my sister. The rooms were clean and neat, and everything seemed nice. The residents there were happy. I could see that they were comfortable and well cared for. The staff I've talked to were very kind and very sweet. I talked to the nurse who needs to evaluate my sister, and she's very accommodating and very sweet, told me what they needed, and we're working out a way to get that done long distance. They've been just really easy and good people to work with. They've got washers and dryers available right there. They have an outside area where you can go and sit in the sun. They have all kinds of things that they do with the residents, like entertainment and trips out of the facility. They had pool tournaments and bowling in the hall."

"The tour experience at East Cascade Retirement Community was good. The people seemed friendly. The facility seemed clean. From what we saw from the food that was being served, it looked like it was homemade and not processed stuff. We were there for 45 minutes, and from what we saw, we thought it looked pretty good. We looked at a studio and a one-bedroom. They covered all the assisted living services, like bathing, toileting, and dressing. It looked like they had a garden that you could plant. You could dine in your room, or you could dine in the dining room. They would tailor menus according to diet. They have activities. They have a bus that would take people to places if they needed to. There were a variety of things to choose from."

"My mom is at Countryside Living Redmond. I think they're great. It's a very nice, warm, loving place for her. The facilities are really, really, really nice. They look like a lodge, so it's very homey. The accommodations are a shared room. There's a wall that the room is shared, so it's semi-private. The bathroom is shared on the outside. They have around 25 residents. They have a childcare onsite that is right next door to the senior living so the seniors can watch the kids play and stuff during the day, which is really, really nice. They have spa for things like hair and nails, and they have tons of daily activities. They have a bus, and sometimes they'll go on outings. They have a small garden so they can do some gardening. They have a very secure outdoor facility so they can walk around outside. They have lots of games and they bring in music sometimes. Outside vendors will come in and do activities with them sometimes. There are tons of stuff to do. The staff are very nice, very warm, and very loving. There's not a lot of turnover or there hasn't been, so that's really nice. The building is absolutely gorgeous. It's very, very expensive."

"My mother-in-law is in Juniper Springs Senior Living. It's excellent. The staff is excellent and professional. If my mom would go to an assisted living place, I definitely would send her there. I have never tried their food. I just heard excellent things about their food. They have everything from assisted living to memory care and it's all really incredible. They have some independent living as well from my understanding. They have all kinds of activities. I've never been on their activities, but I've seen them. The activities director seems to definitely know what the elderly want. In comparison to the other places, they're definitely an excellent facility."
