We had a wonderful experience for the 3 years my father was at Woodland Country Manor. Every aspect was done with dignity and grace. We could not have found a more special place for my dad to live. Thank you to each and every staff member for making this a home.

My father was at this place for three months. It was awful. If we visited in the morning for awhile and would leave and return that evening, he would be sitting in the same chair with his clothes half off. There was nothing offered to him to drink and he wasn't able to tell them his needs. We hated for him to be there but it was all his insurance would allow. He had a few good nurses but most of them made us feel like we had right to be there expecially if it was in the later evening. As we sat around his death bed..they didn't even let us have privacy to be with him. He was put in a room with another man who's family shouldn't have had to watch as we lost our loved one. When I think of my father's last few months..I could cry. He was suffering Alzheimer's and we couldn't do it on our own. Several of the aides made it very clear that they hated having to work on his hall. It was an awful experience and I hope I never have to go there for any reason.
