My mother is currently at Kendal at Oberlin. It's fantastic. It's everything anybody could want in a community. The food is delicious and the portions are the right size. There's a nice waitstaff there in the dining room. They make food to order. It's excellent. The room is generous in size. The bathroom is large and permits a wheelchair to move around. There's an attentive staff that's there around the clock. It runs the gamut. They have painting classes, an active library and book club, and theater programs. Because it's in a college town, there are a lot of college faculty there who will give lectures. There are musical recitals and performances because there's a conservatory in Oberlin. It's an active community.

I am in in Kendal at Oberlin. I like the family feeling of the community. The care staff has a very nice reputation for being very considerate and careful. It is a beautiful place. It is near the town of Oberlin so I can walk into a nice town. What I pay covers the maintenance of my cottage and a housekeeper who comes once a week. There is care center where if I have any medical problem I can just go and be looked at if want to.
