"I stayed at Forest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a while. I'm probably going to be moving back there whenever they get a bed available. I stayed there for four or five months. I liked the atmosphere. The staff was wonderful, caring, and considerate. The facility was very clean. They have a chapel and a beauty salon, and they have a good area for your family to come in and visit with you. They're just good. The semi-private rooms were nice and pretty clean. You have one or two out of everybody that's not good, but 90% of the staff was excellent. The food was great. Dietary was good. They need to improve the quietness in the halls. The staff members call from one end to the other. If they see somebody they know and they need to talk to, they'll scream down to the other end of the hall. That needs to change, but I think they're doing a good job."

"My Mother was a resident at Alpine while recovering from a fall and injury to her pelvis and tailbone. I can't say anything but positive about her recovery experience. She was 92 and is now home and can safely stay by herself. The entire staff took very good care of her and she felt special. The receptionist was always professional, polite and followed coronavirus protocol, which I appreciated so much. Her nurses, aides and the therapists were exceptional. My concerns were always addressed and I had callbacks when I couldn't speak to someone immediately. Thank you for all that you did to make my Mother's stay comfortable while getting her ready to return to her house! The only complaint from her was food, but she is a picky eater and complains about it when we go out to eat as well! They made her sandwiches when she didn't like what they were having. "

"My great grandma lives in Alpine Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation, and I like that they have a single unit room there. Each person has their own room and as far as I can tell, it's roomy. Right now with COVID, we're only allowed in if we get there early and do a rapid test. Thus far, we've been just communicating with her through the window and so far, it's been working. Her room is really nice, and so far she's with a staff that has been good to her. She only had one situation where a lady tried to make her walk, and she couldn't walk because both of her knees have had major surgeries. She had to explain that she was unable to walk and had to show her knees to her. Then the lady said, "Okay." The only thing I didn't like was her approach. I was thinking that naybe because she was a younger person, and sometimes they are a little insensitive, but they could train their CNAs to be more sensitive or when you have a new patient, do a little dig on their history first. Think why they're there for, and what they're able to do. Other than that everything has been fine. There's several activities that they do too, and the activity director is on top of her job. Overall, I think it's a good place because it's spacious and they have more privacy in their rooms. It's almost like a mini-apartment with no kitchenette or anything, yet everything else is right there in her room. It's just a better living situation, and I don't think they feel as isolated and alone there."

"The staff at Ruston Nursing and Rehab are great. They really care about my mom and the other residents. When I go there every day I feel that my extended family has been there taking care of my loved one . I really like the point they have 4 RNs there during the day assisting the LPNs and CNAs. I believe the new leadership will continue to ensure the residents are happy and taken care of. "

"Yes,my father, Winfred harvey Aulds, spent the last few weeks of his life at this facility, passing away on the morning of May 7th,2006. I found the staff, for the most part, very unprofessional at their work(many wered down right 'rude'/sassy.I remember well there was a natural gas leak within the building(odor was obvious);owner tried rubbing it off as 'nothing'.NO hot water in my fathers bathroom!"

"We chose Willow Ridge because we thought that she would get better care there. The staff is helpful, and they do what they need to do. The rooms are excellent; they are very nice. They have activities outside and inside the facility. It isn't depressing like some nursing homes can be. "
