I came for a visit looking for a home for my mother. The staff was extremely helpful and very informative. I left with the knowledge I needed if I decide to go the next step. I highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for long term care. The facility was clean and organized.

My parent was a resident at Autumn Care of Raeford in early 2019. It was a terrible experience. In addition to hearing the pleas of residents up and down the halls asking for a drink of water or for help and seeing residents slumped in wheelchairs in the halls and various public spaces, the facility does not have the equipment or staff to care for residents properly. My loved one suffered neglect and abuse during their stay, including being threatened, squeezed and choked by a staff member. My frail, bed-ridden, oxygen-dependent parent was not evaluated by a physician for possible injuries, no x-rays were taken, and we were not notified of the assault and battery. When my parent told us what happened, law enforcement officials were called. We removed our loved one via EMS and upon arrival to the emergency room no broken bones were found but our parent had severe sepsis which required 2 IVs with three different broad spectrum antibiotics and eventually a central line. Please note the request of my parent while we were waiting for the EMS to arrive: "If I don't get out of here. Please call the news and have them stay here a few days and have them listen and see what's going on here. People crying out for water or begging for help all day and all night and no one comes to help them." Autumn Care of Raeford is the prime example of what we all fear about nursing homes.

My mom is a resident at Autumn Care of Raeford. She has received the best care possible. I am in the facility daily at different times each day. The facility is clean and the staff on her hall are the best! The food is wonderful; the dietary staff has gone above and beyond to make sure she has food that she likes. The Rehab. department has been so patient and kind to her while making sure she receives the therapy she needs. The administrator, Danielle, is always available and her door is always open. She is willing to help in anyway possible.

My mom is currently at Autumn Care of Raeford and it seems to be working out pretty well. It's very clean and I did appreciate that when we first stepped into the facility it was a very clean environment. The staff is very nice, but that's always that way with me working in facilities and everything in the past, of course people are always good and project to be that way when the family is around, so I don't know how it is when we are not there, but when we are there, everybody seems to be really nice.

This is one of the nicer facilities I have experienced. The nurse aides are very nice and hardworking. They truly care about the residents. The facility is always very clean and well stocked with linens, towels, etc. The nurse aides responded promptly to call signals and every measure was taken to make sure residents were as comfortable as possible. Amenities include: a tv in every room, whirlpool spa bath, beauty salon, activity room, and sitting areas.
