The staff there is very friendly and willing to help out the residents in that facility. They are willing to hire those that want to learn and have a desire to help others out. There are different buildings for different types of needs and counseling which is very convenient. I also believe everything there is gender separated. There is a large variety of staff, that has a lot of knowledge in the field of special needs and assisted living. The employees go through a lot of training and understand the life of the residents to the best of their abilities, which is astonishing. If you are considering an assisted living facility within the Dutchess Country area, located in upstate New York this would be a great place to visit and do some research on. They have strict guild lines which are adhered to, but are willing to make changes to accommodate the residents of their facilities. Hats off to the Deveraux Foundation on a job well done!
