The whole facility wreaks of urine. It’s dirty, the conditions of the rooms themselves are despicable. I refused to sit on any furniture in my fathers room. He’s not getting his physical therapy which is why he’s there and his medications are obviously not being properly given. The man i saw today was not my father. It was a neglected patient. Planning to take action immediately.

This facility is deplorable at best. Rooms are filthy, bathroom shared by 4 patients are disgusting, the smell of urine permeates the whole place. This facility is not worthy of a dog! It brakes my heart to think people have to be there!

my sister was in this facility. Her room was always clean. The therapy department was great with her. The only thing she was not happy with is they didnt offer her pepsi. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I go down to visit a family member all the time but when I do it is depressing when I walk in and see my family member still in bed and still in her clothes from the day before and she is totally wet and around her it it a mess and us as a family member has to clean her room .being on our hands and knees cleaning a nasty floor with food, drink and what ever on it because no one cleans the rooms and when you ask the cna or housekeeping or nursing nothing ever gets done . It has been the same song and dance for over 4 yrs now and no one will listen in there ( not even the head of the facility and that is sad) I don't know what to do next to perfect ALL THE PATIENTS that have to live in this facility like she does because I know there is more patient that go through the same thing . IT BREAKS MY HEART TO SEE THIS GOING ON . there is NO reason to be under stuffed at all and I see it every time I go there it needs to stop . Well I can keep going on and on but this is how I see this place it needs to change its ways or change its people.

The reason we chose Newfane Rehab and Health Facility for my husband is availability. My impression from them is very good. I have been there myself for rehab and was treated very well. My husband is not there yet, but for myself, the care for rehab was great. However, they need to improve on the odor of this facility.

There was very little activity at Newfane and there was a very cold atmosphere as far as the people. In the morning, they brought them out to sit in the hallway and at night, they took them back to their rooms. There was no ability to go outside. The staff was cold and they walk by you and never said hello. They had no approach to anybody there. The rooms are of good size and the place has a good location. It had all the things you needed to take care of a person but it didn’t have the personality. There was no system on how to find the person you’re looking for, a central information for example.
