I didn't like Hudson Pointe Apartments at all. It was dark. The apartment was really small. I arrived early and I was expecting the door to at least be locked and it was not like you could just walk in from the street. The office attendant was very nice. She showed me around and to the apartment. As a senior female, I didn't feel safe, so I didn't think my cousin would. When you enter the lobby, the office is off to the left. It's not like there was an office person or security or something right there as you walk in. The lobby wasn't airy. There weren't a lot of windows. There was wall-to-wall carpeting but it seemed like the carpet was kind of old. The one-bedroom seemed more like a studio. It was really small. There was no elevator. We walked to it and it was not open, not airy, and there were no windows. It just felt sort of secluded. I was able to just open the door from the street and walk in. If I was looking for a place to stay, I would not choose that place. The staff was very nice. She offered to put me on a list for another building that they had. She said there may be some availabilities coming soon and she would put me down on the list to alert me when there was an apartment available there that I could see.
