Very poor attention to details. Stuff disappears I bring in ,markers out of her drawer I lable stuff with ,Blankets , hearing aids .Ya ask about it and it They pay no attention to you . If something gets lost or taken nobody cares . Patient care is to be desired to Not many care about what they do for a living here. Activities have been asked to stop and give my mom coffee when coffee cart comes around because she can't get it herself . They don't listen. Same with manicures.

Our experience with Susquehanna Nursing And Rehab Center LLC was fair. It was below average. It was not perfect. There were many concerns while my dad was there. They didn't really care much about cleaning the facility. It was very old and needed to be renovated completely. Plus, they had too many residents living there. When it comes to laundry, we missed many of my father's belongings. His laundry never got back to us. but they actually tried to help him the best, in terms of cleaning him and changing him frequently. Food was OK. It wasn't really the best or the fanciest type of food. Staff were fine. They were hard workers. I'm not blaming any of them, but the overall experience needs to be improved a little bit more. The speech therapist was very fine, but they were very short staffed. They usually bring new people with zero experience somehow. Sometimes they did not know how to do things. I think they needed to train the newbies in a better way. The nurses were the same most of the time, but the aides and the CNAs were completely different every day. I think they needed some staffing commitment.

The rooms are depressing. Despite signs in the room saying " family does laundry" again this week my moms drawers were totally empty. Literally no clothes in her room so she wore the same clothes for 3 days. Ridiculous that they take her clothes from her drawers. As soon as we can find a better place we will get her out. Absolutely treated with no dignity

Horrible, horrible place. Do not let your loved ones end up here. Facility is dirty, smelly, and inadequate. There is no ice for the residents. There are no microwaves to be able to heat food from home. Rooms have one small bed and an uncomfortable chair. Even if they ever got a patient out of bed there is no place for them to sit and be comfortable. They are very understaffed. They do not respond to call buttons and when you ask for help they simply say sorry can't do it. Our dad is there for rehab and they just keep him in bed all day long. We requested that they help him get up every day and we were told that they do not have enough staff to get them up. The food is horrible and cold when delivered to patients. And if a patient is not able to cut his food or feed himself they would starve because they just drop the tray and leave.

My mom used to stay at Susquehanna Nursing And Rehab Center LLC. They're just very short-staffed although they're trying to hire. They didn't have an activity director and there were only two activities a day. And they really didn't have any place to go like a community room or something. They just need more people to help, and they could also update their decor inside because it was pretty rough-looking. They try hard but there are supposed to be five people on each floor, and there are only two. That makes it hard for the employees and that's not safe for the residents. The staff that were there were good. They have a courtyard which looked nice, but inside there are just halls and there aren't any big areas for them. It costs $9000 a month, which is quite a bit of money.

My mother was placed here on 10/13/2021.Within 2 months she passed away. Prior to this she lived on her own with aide service 5x a week very care full at home about falling. She fell out of bed twice within a week passed away hours after her second fall. Lost a considerable amount of weight ,she was very lethargic and slurred speech. The family would tease her about what a great memory she had, the last few days of her life she could not call her family because she could not remember phone numbers. She begged us to get her out of the facility which is not an easy task. Please be careful where you place you're loved ones.

the floors in moms room were dirty only cleaning was done by family ,1/2 time the phones were not answered mostly I found staff friendly treated mom well the food did not look very Good, management did not do what they said they would they did not re turn email to transport company for transport home I had to go there get paper work and email it my self because they were too lazy ! they claimed to have after care when mom came home then said there was nothing two weeks or more after discharge said they would give her a prescription for rehab at home instead gave me a useless prescription to get an evaluation. which was not needed just slowed down Mom's care. MOM will not ever be there again they are sending bills with no real details do not answer phones or return calls.

If you are thinking about putting your loved one at this facility, DON'T My mom is currently a patient there. Since she was admitted there in November 2020 she has lost 85 pounds, and is now bed ridden. Her room is so dirty that me and my sisters take our own cleaning items and clean her room. Being diabetic mom needs her feet taken care of, I took pictures of her feet last weekend, her nails haven't been cut or a podiatrist seen since she has been there, her toenails are curving into her toes. Two weekends ago I happened to get there while she was eating lunch. I had two masks on one ppe and one of my own. Her lunch consisted of steamed broccoli and ziti with light sauce and some sort of meat. The smell was so bad it smelled like fish being cooked in a microwave, I actually gagged several times before I took it away from her. At the end of the visit, I let the nurse and nurses aid know that she needed to be changed and was told it takes 2 people and it was just the two of them so she had to wait, now would they let their children sit in a shitty diaper? I could go on and on about this place right down to them threatening to take over my mom's finances, which legally they can't by the way. Rooms dirty Staff lacking and rude, especially the social workers I have seen NO activities from any of the residents There are no amenities.

My father went to Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for rehab, and he never left. Every floor is pretty much laid out the same. There are two beds in a room. I think there's one floor that's more permanent living, but we haven't seen him since they moved him there because of Covid. I don't think there's much going on there. They don't offer very much for the patients and he complained a lot that he doesn't wanna be there, but they have a good rehab program there.

If you care about your lived ones DO NOT PUT THEM HERE!! My Mom went for rehab they gave up and tried to sell me a long term bed! She became very sick in there and they did nothing! Covid-19 kept us from seeing all the horrors on the inside but Mom told us. She was filthy when we finally got to see her through a fence! The director of nursing is VERY unprofessional, could care less about your concerns. My mother told me that the staff hated me and my advocacy was making it harder in her as they treated her worse. I was in phone with Mom took 12 minutes for any response from staff. 6 weeks no shower!! Had to go to the administrator to get her cleaned up! They lost all her clothes and she would have PT when I forced them to give it to her in a bathrobe nothing more! Saw there video live if this! They refused to help her after 8 days said she gets range if motion getting dressed. This place is a nightmare I feel sad for all of the people stuck in there!!

Total lack of care, and neglect. Given meds without food so it makes them sick to their stomach, don’t follow through on outside orders from the patients real doctors and have an administration that is worthless.

I witnessed several staff altercations while visiting. A male nurse was very hostile, screaming in the face of an aide. Aides yelling at each other in the hallways, while pushing residents in wheelchairs. The administration was catty and unprofessional. The food was terrible, usually over cooked. The staff was treated poorly, and demeaned by the administrators. There was not enough staff to care for the residents properly, probably because of the way they were treated.

They treated my dad pretty well at first.. until they wanted 30,000 dollars from us to continue my dad's care; in which he had Medicare coverage and should've paid for his services. I confirmed this with Medicare myself as I work in healthcare. These people proceeded to tell my father that he was a terrible father on raising his children. Why? because we said we couldn't pay that up front. We were both in our 20s and one just recently moved out of state. My sister had a meeting with the 'Social Workers' there.. Danielle in particular. We were told we were terrible daughters for not paying for this. Saying we did not care about our father at all. This entire situation caused my father strife and stress all the way until he died last year. 2 years of just torture from these people. Oh, and now WE'RE dealing with it as his daughters [again!] because he passed away from cancer last year and they're demanding money.. again! Do not go here. Do not go here. DO NOT. GO. HERE. Unless you want these people to tell you how horribly you were raised for not shelling out 10s of thousands of dollars at the drop of a dime. My sister has next to no emotions - and they made HER cry! Do not go here. If you care for your parent, do not let them go here.

My father is in Susquehanna, and it’s just adequate. It’s by the river, so some rooms have a nice view. The staff is a mix of some good and some not, but they need more staff, so my dad doesn’t have to wait so long for pain meds and other services.

At that time when my mother was requiring rehab, it was very difficult to get in at any place. It just so happened that I knew the admission's officer in Susquehanna Nursing Home and she was able to help us get my mother in this place. The food was fair. The staff was knowledgeable and they were able to rehab my mother in a very reasonable period of time. They also assisted us with the transition and helped us locate another place for my mom to go after rehab. They're very accommodating and professional. It is a good facility and I recommend this place, although I think, at that time, it was understaffed. They need to work on this to better serve their patients.

When I went to visit a member of my family at this nursing home the first things I noticed is how clean the facility was. This nursing home is updated and is very at home atmospheric. From the floors to the wall paper and the curtains I was able to tell that it is important to this facility to make their patients stay as comfortable as possible. The nurses treated my grandmother with great care and was more than attentive to her. I was able to tell there is a genuine care in the patient/employee relationship. What most surprised me was the CNA's that worked with my Grandmother. I could not have done better one on one care myself. She was very well dressed, groomed (if I may say)and very happy with the CNA's that work there. My Grandmother still boasts about the care she received while she was there and how wonderful the CNA's treated her. While she was there she received physical rehabilitation which is another plus for this nursing facility. Due to the wonderful care and attentiveness they gave to my Grandmother I was at peace knowing she was in good hands. Other things to mention was games and activities they offer the patients and the wonderful meals that even made my stomach grumble. Lets just say they looked and smelled wonderful. I was very happy and more than satisfied with this facility. Thanks Susquehanna Nursing for caring for my loved one!
