I moved into Georgetown Park. I have my independence back. I have a one-bedroom, a full kitchen, a bathtub, and a patio. It's form those 55 and older. I have to do my own cleaning and my own cooking. It's extremely friendly. It has a clubhouse, but you have to walk to it or drive. It has a pool, and they have activities planned, like euchre, bingo, and card games. They're going to Bill Gray's for Valentine's Day. It's very well kept. It has a beautiful kitchen if you're able to do your own cooking. They don't provide meals. You have to do your own meals. Value for money is extraordinary. I pay half of what I paid where I lived before. I don't get my meals, but it's a much bigger apartment. It's got everything that I need. Where I came from, I was paying for meals, and they were not very good.

I moved to the Georgetown Park senior apartments for those 55 and older. All of my friends live in Rochester, so I don't feel as lonely as I did when I was out in another city. I like that the mail is inside, and the garbage is inside, because it keeps the grounds nice. The staff members are so accommodating. I haven't gone to any of the activities yet, but they are offered. I think the rent is very high, but my friends are around me, and that means a lot. I'm hoping to make new friends, as well.
