I rated this home a 3 because there was some good and some not so good areas in this home. As soon as I entered the home, the first thing I saw as I walked down the halls was some elderly residents just sitting in wheelchairs outside their room, some beds along the corridor, it felt too much like a sterile hospital to me rather than a "home". There was a big kitchen and the food did look nourishing and tasty. I saw an activity center that seemed like it had some fun activities for the residents there, those that wanted to participate anyway. The personnel seemed very friendly and helpful. There was an emergency there while I was there and the response was very quick. I didn't seen any residents sitting around needing/wanting help with no response from the personnel. All in all, I thought this was a decent place for residents, but I do think it could use a facelift. I think it could be made to be more "homey" by adding warm colors on the windows, blankets, things like that. I just thought it was too "white" and sterile looking. If I were looking to place someone in my family in a facility like this, I think I would do more researching after touring this place...somewhere that's not so "hospital-like".
