Rose Pointe II is an older building, but it's very reasonable as far as the price. You get more apartment for less money, which is what I was looking for. I liked that they're nicely furnished and well cared for. They're larger and have storage (which isn't available sometimes in newer places). It's a quiet place, and I will have a separate garage for myself. The management is just wonderful. Like all the other management there, the lady I talked to was very knowledgeable, very welcoming, and happy to answer any questions. She asked me again if there were any things I wanted added or changed in the apartment (because I wanted more space for hanging my clothes). They're adding an extra bar in the closet for slacks and shirts. She just bent over backwards in making sure that I will have everything I want in the unit and in the garage. They have a full bathroom and a full kitchen that has all the amenities, such as a refrigerator, stove, lots of cupboard storage, and an area to put tables and chairs for eating. They just refurbished that and they put all new carpeting in. They're in the process of painting all the walls, and asked if I wanted any special colors (which I don't). They're very accommodating. They also have beautiful and spacious grounds to walk. There's a lot of walking paths, and it's kind of woodsy. It's a beautiful setting. The only two downsides is they don't have an elevator. I will be at the garden level. I just go down one small flight, so it doesn't create a problem for me. They don't have laundry in units, but they have laundry on every floor.
