I visited Garland Commons. The apartment itself was kind of new, and it seemed like it's a quiet area. They had the rails that some people may need if they have to walk in the hallway, but I don't need all of that. The shower had the railing and it had the chair. The most convenient part for me was the washer and dryer on the same floor. They had elevators and a recycle bin. It's conducive for my lifestyle. The staff was nice, pleasant, and friendly. The bedroom was small, but it's adequate. It had enough room for a queen-sized bed and a dresser. They had a walk-in closet. I just looked at a one-bedroom. The price was reasonable compared to other places in the area. They had a nice kitchen. It had the stainless-steel appliances and a microwave.
