My mom came from another large chain facility that so severely neglected her she ended up in the hospital for a week. At 95 that's quite tramatic! Hospital social worker helped us place her at Advantage and its wonderful! The staff is amazing! They treat her with care and respect. They answer her call light. She's keep clean. They answer questions. I would recommend advantage if you want great care for your loved one.

When we visited Advantage Senior Living, we saw that they had various levels, which included rehab, memory care, and regular assisted living. It was top notch, well decorated, and very nice. The rooms were fabulous and came in three different sizes. We went in one lady's room, and she's 101. It had a full kitchen, a full living room, a full bedroom, and her own bath. It was so large; she had a piano in there. She had two couches and paintings galore. Nothing was crowded. It was huge and very spacious. The single room was very adequate. It's a newer place, and the bathrooms were upscale. We dealt with Sherrie and met some of the other staff members. Everybody was just super and very friendly. One thing that was nice was if you were in assisted living but had dementia, the memory wing is right there on the campus, so you don't have to leave. You can go into the memory wing without having to move across the state or be looking all over for another place. The only complaint we had was it was hard to find a place to park. There was plenty of parking, but it was all full.

My 43 year old youngest sister spend the last several months of her life at the Village Center in Armada, first under regular care and eventually under Hospice care. The level of care far surpassed anything we received at any hospital. The team of devoted professionals gave every ounce of energy they could find to go above any beyond anything we ever expected. It was always spotless too. They allowed the family to become part of the end-of-life care my sister received and needed. It is the only place that gave her a real bath in months. Many of the staff even attended the funeral. I couldn't even believe that. I am grateful every day for the excellent care my sister received from the Village staff, both medically and mentally. They fed her spirit. I am happy to give references. marylou1025@yahoo.com
