I would suggest that anyone considering entering or placing a loved one in this facility should think twice. My husband was a patient there for rehab and his lower denture was lost. At the time he was totally unable to get out of bed. Put his denture on his bedside table and it disappeared. No one ever took responsibility. No apology. Did not return my phone calls. Did not even reply to a letter from my lawyer. If they treat family this way how do they treat patients when no one is there? There are much better facilities out there.

I personally have had nothing but the best experience with this facility. The process to get our family member in was a smooth one. The staff are caring, responsible and right there if any requests or concerns. Every quarter, a care meeting is held for our loved one. There is always a daily activity to keep residents happy, interested, motivated and active. The meals are made very well and served hot. The place is always kept spotless. Hygiene for our loved one is very important, and they meet that most important requirement every day. Each holiday, the facility makes it a very special one for residents and their families by putting on a wonderful dinner and entertainment. We are so fortunate to have a place like this in our area. When we walk in, we get a good feeling, and we've been coming in very frequently for almost 2 years now. Kudos and thank you to Masconomet Healthcare Center and their amazing staff.

I have had two family members at masco.The facility is neat,clean and has many activity rooms for families to gather together.The rooms are clean also.The care is excellant the nurses,the activity staff and certified patient care staff.The admission process was easy and professional.The social workers helped guide my family with many difficult decisions.The doctor was attentive to the needs of both patient and family.Masco has been fabulous.THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL DO

Looks are deceiving, staff is horrible, not nice to patients, rude, and I would not take an Amina's there!

Lovely building, however, clearly understaffed. Wait 5 days to meet with someone to discuss my father's care plan. After four days, my father has not been showered or shaved. He is miserable. Put to bed in his clothes, not his pajamas. Change in hospital discharge medication discussed at intake but not acted upon after 3 days. Will be seeking transfer for my father as soon as possible.

This facility is fine if you are willing to do everything the staff says and not make any requests, but if you're an actual human being with individual needs, forget it. The staff is competent but totally unwilling to discuss anything -- they just tell you what you're supposed to do and then claim you are "refusing treatment" if you question their decisions. The case manager I dealt with was high-handed and actually yelled at me when I suggested that she had no right to send my husband to another facility without even telling me. Plus the food is awful. Don't let your loved one go here if you have any alternative.
