I visited this facility

I went to Turtle Woods, which is a 10-minute drive to the ocean. The people that live there are just walking around, kind of looking at the outside. People are like, hi, how are you? Can we help you with anything? And then, going inside, I went into the lobby. It was OK. It wasn't the Taj Mahal, but it wasn't terrible. It was clean, and it was very homey. There was a huge bookshelf going all around this massive room for their community room. They had a listing of things to do that all the residents could sign up for. Then, once a month, they had big sales. It seemed like a very active community. It also had an elevator to be able to get your stuff to the second or third floors. And it was located in a farming, woodsy area. It was close enough to go out and walk in the woods. That was a very nice place, I would consider going there. The only issue is, which is a small issue, but it's in an area geographically very difficult to get to. If I had to get to my kids quickly, I probably couldn't. My other brother lives west of Springfield, Mass., which that would be a two and a half, to three hour drive. If one of my family members were sick and needed me right away, if I could jump in the car and do the best I could, it would probably take at the minimum of three hours before I get there. It seemed more relaxed, more homey. Everything in turn was worked on too. And some of the appliances were older, but that didn't bother me. I kind of like that. The age group, when I was talking to the ladies, 70 was the youngest one, and 80s, 90s, and some hundreds. Just really sweet people. I sat down with the residents and played some cards and ate some brownies. I know there was a nurse or administrative office right at the entryway of Turtle Woods, so that if you forgot your key, you could get buzzed in. That's how I got in. I rang the bell and got buzzed in at Turtle Woods. When I walked in, I saw posters. And on the elevator, there was a list of upcoming things, events open to all residents, and then it had a monthly planner. It showed what was happening, what day, and what time. And like, say, making pumpkins on this day between 3 and 5. Bring your pumpkin, or you could purchase your pumpkin here if you like. Alice in Wonderland has pumpkins for sale. Just go ahead and get her up. I was out back, and they had parking assigned, but Turtle Woods is smaller. Their amount of parking is proportionate, but it seems like it's a battle for parking. If you don't get there early, you might lose out. You would have to park on the other side of the other property to get to Turtle Woods by walking.
