My uncle moved into The Village At St. Bernard. It's eight minutes from my mother's home, so my mother can visit him quite a bit. The facility is very new and clean, and we just had a really good feeling when we went in. It's really, really nice. They're very attentive when I visit, if I need anything I call, and they're very eager to help. I'll call to ask questions, or I'll get them to relay a message -- anything that I need, they're really helpful. The food is very good. They feed him hot meals at lunch, they get a hot balanced meal as well at dinner time, and breakfast is quite nice: they get eggs, bacon or sausage, and grits. They get a nice, balanced meal. I'm very happy with that, and they don't cut corners. They have an activities director, they do chair exercises, they play bingo, they do crafts, and they've not really taken them out because of COVID.
