The meals are a particular point of satisfaction and camaraderie! The dining experience is headed by a long admired chef and his staff. Always beautifully presented as well as delicious with a choice of entrees. Owners are on sight and working professional health care providers who know the residents by name and offer a personal touch. My uncle lived here happily for several years before his passing at 101 years of age!

My father is at St Francis Villa Assisted Living right now. He has been there for about two weeks now. My mother-in-law had been there for about six years before she passed away. We looked at other ones. They were great homes, but none of them had any openings available. St. Francis had an opening, so we put him in there. They have great food. The apartments are nice. They're clean. They've taken care of my father very well and also my mother-in-law when she was there. They have an abundance of activities. Somebody comes and plays the piano once a day. They have ice cream socials. They have singalongs. They have exercise and crafts. They do a lot there. The staff is very nice and very attentive. They have kept me informed with anything that happens, when it happens. The last time I ate there was on a Friday, and they had catfish stuffed with crab meat. It's clean and nice. They come in once a week and clean the rooms if they need it. They take care of my father's clothes and everything. Their cost is slightly lower than the rest of them that we went to, so I guess it's a good value from what I have looked at. I looked at three other places. This was the cheapest, and the facilities pretty much are about the same. The staff introduced everybody that would be working with my father. They serve three meals a day.

My mom never envisioned herself living anywhere but her house, but when it became painfully clear (broken ribs!) that this was no longer an option, we arranged for her to live at SFV where she has been a resident now for four years and counting. The place is beautiful and cozy. The studio apartments are large enough to fit a bed and some furniture. The apartments are cleaned weekly and trash goes out daily— there is no smell! The food is darn good, and guests can dine in if arrangements are made. The staff has been kind and helpful, and the administrators deserve a special place in heaven. I could not have navigated these past few years without them and, most important, Mom loves living there. It’s not “a home,” but HOME.

I moved my mother into St. Francis Villa almost two years ago this coming April. She is very happy living there and her overall well being has much improved. I live out of state so my Aunt, my mother's younger sister who lives close by takes care of all of her physical needs and is the main contact person with the owners and staff of the facility and she has been pleased with their attention to my mother's well being. The architecture of the facility is that of a beautiful Victorian three story building with a beautiful long front/side porch with lovely landscaping and sitting areas for the residents to enjoy. There are daily activities scheduled each week, a beauty parlor, library and chapel room on site. The common areas on the main floor and at the end of each floor and wing are beautifully decorated as well as furnished with good quality comfortable sofas, chairs and ample lamps and lighting. The overall feeling is that of being in a beautiful cozy home vs. an institution. The core staff consists of the two owners, the marketing director and the chef. One of the owners is the head nurse of the nursing staff. She has always proven to be easily accessible, friendly, caring and professional. I'm sure that the tasks and demands of running an assisted living facility are very challenging. There's always going to be some frequent over-turning of staff in any facility. The weekends seem to be a special challenge at SFV wherein there seems to be a shortage of staff. This may be common for all facilities of this nature. Overall, I've been very pleased with the professional care my mother has received at SFV and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and safe new home for a loved one.

St Francis Villa is an excellent assisted living place. They provided excellent care and service. It's a friendly community with caring and competent staff. My dad was there for three months.

St. Francis Villa (The Villas, LLC DBA St. Francis Villa) has a nice appearance and nice people. They showed me around and they told me what the rules and regulations were. We walked through a 1-bedroom room that had a private bathroom and a kitchenette.

My father is moving to St Francis Villa Assisted Living next week. They had studio apartments that were very nice. I thought the staff was really terrific. They don't have a lot of in-house facilities, but they had transportation, events, and outstanding kitchen and dining services -- all of which were a big factor. They had exercise classes and things like that, so it was a pretty full schedule. It was impressive and we were definitely willing to have my father live there.
