This was a very beautiful and very well kept facility. It was very clean and well organized. The residents seemed very happy to be living there and seemed to have all their needs met. After talking with my aunt who is now in her late 70's she enjoys living there and the Friendship house has helped to keep her independent able to live on her own, where she can avoid going to a nursing home before she is ready. She is able to get all of her needs met when she has them and still live on her own. The assistant living communities are a blessing to have and if they are all as good as the friendship house then the residents are very well cared for while keeping their independence. I would have to recommend assistant living communities to anyone in their aging years that want to maintain their sense of independence and also have a family type surrounding. The Friendship house gives a new meaning to the word family; they have games, dinners and other activities for the community and even have a resident manager. This is not just a community but a home full of love and understanding.
