The first impression of this Resident home was How small it was. The rooms were smaller than the room I had as a teen at my parents house. The facility is clean and expresses a friendly environment. I also noticed that everytime I visited it seemed as though they were understaffed. Never enough employees there to provide a safe level of care. Patients ranged from Semi-independent to completely dependant. Some of the residents had dirty fingernails and messy hair, but others seemed very well groomed. My biggest fear was that the administrator seemed to have no idea how to make the place function properly. I actually filed a complaint because I noticed how he mistreated the staff and even a few residents. Most of the nurses and CNA's seemed to be knowledgeable and skilled, but also seemed burnt out and frustrated. I don't believe I would choose to allow a family member to reside there.
