"My mom moved to Asher Point Independent Living of Sherman. Everybody there is super active and super nice. Everybody has greeted her with welcome open arms. The staff has bent over backward to meet her requirements. The food is great. There's a gym. There's a salon and all kinds of activities all the time. They plant gardens in the garden space outside. They have ice cream socials. When we were moving mom in, they had a snow cone social. The activities are awesome. They are community members-led and not staff-led. So the community members have taken the lead on all of that, and the staff helps with purchasing the equipment that they need or any help that they may want. My mom was at the other community which was $3500 a month. When she moved over here it was $2000 a month, and there were more activities and more to do. The food's better, the staff is better, and all around is better for my mother."

"Wesley Village was very nice. The staff during the tour was very nice, very thorough with us, took us around, and showed us everything. The rooms were very good. I saw a two-bedroom, two-bath, with a kitchen. It was for independent living. We came at a very inconvenient time for them. Things were kind of closed down at the time. The dining room was closed and everything. We got showed around the different type of rooms they had."
