"This is a facility for patients that is ready to leave the hospital setting but not quite ready to go home. I have a cousin that lived here for a couple of years and he always told me that he really enjoyed living here. The staff is knowledgeable, informative, and concern of the resident's needs. This facility is so what of a fast paced environment. They are nurses checking in on residents for medication assistants 24/7. Which is very important for residents who needs 24-hour nursing care. The staff is professional, friendly, and there to serve you. I visit this facility several times and seen the work that's perform on a daily basis. This is one i will consider. "

"We are now at Barclay House of Tarboro. So far, we're very pleased. We have been here for a little bit, but so far, everything has been very good. Everybody has been so nice, and they seem to know who we are right away. They're taking the time to learn who we are. The staff has been very nice, have been very cooperative, and very helpful. They're doing very well, and our apartment was just all clean before we moved in. The food is very good. I just noticed my husband this morning, and I think I have to put him on a diet already. On Sunday they have brunch. We just had a brunch, and that was delicious. We have eaten in the dining room every night and it's very good. Regarding activities, we have only been to one event, and it was a Christmas Carol sing along and I loved it. We had a good time with that. Given the apartment we have, the value for money is excellent. We're in what they call the penthouse. It's a beautiful apartment, and very spacious. My husband is in a wheelchair, and we chose an apartment that we knew he could maneuver, so this is a bigger apartment. And so far he's been able to get around without having to back up and come around. This apartment has been very good for both of us. I like the space, and he likes the ability to maneuver."
