Seminary Village was a very nice facility. All amenities were included (including the meals), and it's very clean and very affordable. They have a studio, a one-bedroom, and two-bedroom homes. Maintenance was excellent, too. It's very clean. The lady who toured us was very nice and very informative. The food was delicious. They gave us lunch in their nice-looking dining room and there's always drinks and fruits available. You go through a line, tell them what you want, and they bring it to your table. It's very nice. They clean your apartment, change your linens for you and wash them, but there's a free laundry area as well. There's also an exercise room, a beauty salon on the premises (haircuts were only $14), a chapel, and a library. They have get-togethers, parties/celebrations, and they go out twice a week to take you shopping or to eat. Everything for a flat fee. You can have a dog and a cat under 10 pounds and covered parking for extra.

The Hawthorne Inn really caters to my mother's needs, and the round the clock supervision really comforts both my mother as well as myself. The staff are incredibly friendly, and it shows when my mother knows the staff by name, as well as they do it. It is a small personal touch which makes me know I chose the right place. The many activities there are great for my mother to interact with others, and I've never seen her so happy, which is great! The staff really caters to my mother's needs, and I have been nothing but happy with Hawthorne. I would highly recomment it to others considering putting a loved one at such a community.
