My sister moved into Grace Assisted Living in Chubbuck / Pocatello. They seemed to be very friendly and caring. Her room seems a little bit small, but she's enjoying it and doing fine. She doesn't complain about the food. She says that it's good food. They have puzzles and bingo, and they do her fingernails and her hair occasionally. They have a piano there that she likes to try and play. It's getting harder for her, but she has enjoyed piano in the past. I think they play other games around the table that she seems to enjoy. They've been short of help, and I wish there was adequate help.

My mother decided on going to Grace Assisted Living - Pocatello / Chubbuck. It's only half a mile from where my mother's home is and only a mile from where we live. So we can see her about every day. It is a brand new, beautiful, and well-run facility. We visited the room that she will be in, and it was perfect. They have studio arrangements. My mom got the last room there, which was a one-bedroom. It has a little kitchenette, separate bedroom, large bathroom with a shower stall, and fold-out seat. They have an emergency cord you can pull for in case you slip, and that's just beautiful. They have a large cafeteria, three meals a day, and a 24-7 coffee snack bar. They had a library, theaters, and game rooms where they had organized get-togethers with the other residents. The cost is better than most places we've been to with the level of care my mom requires. The one who runs the place was nice, really friendly, and described everything perfectly that's available there.

My grandmother selected Grace Assisted Living at Chubbuck. It opened in October 2020. She will move in about a month. It feels homier. The rooms are more like a one-bedroom apartment than just a studio with a bathroom. They're all one-bedroom apartments, and they each have a kitchenette, all of which are very large, spacious, and brand new. Their living area and their common areas are very large and very inviting. They have several different areas for the residents to be in. They seemed like they had a lot of activities going on there, and the activity room was huge. They have a theater room and all sorts of stuff to do. The staff members were great. They showed us about four different rooms, and they showed us all around the building. They were really helpful and answered all of our questions.
