I like the affordability of Grayson Ridge 55+ Apartments. It's nice and quiet. They have a lot of amenities and the apartments are very spacious. We have a theater, a gym, and a hair salon. We also have an in-building storage unit that you can utilize and pay for monthly. There are laundromats on site, even though the apartments come with washer and dryer connections. It's just that the facility doesn't organize activities. The residents do. There is no activities director or anything like that. It is affordable, but for the majority of seniors, it would be out of reach. The cost of the apartment is at the upper register of my Social Security income. So, if the price were able to come down more and include more amenities like the utilities, because the utilities are not included, then it would be more affordable for seniors that only have the one Social Security fixed income.
