My father is now staying at the skilled nursing facility of Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville. He wanted to be closer to home, and his primary care doctor is there. He is under rehab. The place is very clean, and I like that the residents have a bond. They're very nice people. All the staff are nice, too. He meets new people because the staff constantly encourages residents to participate in activities. They're also not limiting them. You can basically treat it like you're in your living room as long as you don't try to sneak out. They take your concerns into account, and they give good feedback. When my father was struggling in physical therapy, they had a meeting and told us what we could do to try to help the situation. They're very attentive. The layout of the facility is not confusing. You could get around easily. They also have a board with the residents' last names and their numbers. They have a nurse's station, so someone is always there if you have any questions, and they're always eager to help. The residents look happy, and I love the activities that they have. They always have something new every month, like Easter egg hunts and fun stuff like that.

We went to Seminole Manor Nursing Home. The staff who helped and took me on a tour were very good. It's too small. The area where they gather to watch TV and the activity area are tiny for the number of people.
