My father has moved into Sherry Lyle Elderville. It's about 15 miles away from our house, so it's convenient. His living space is pretty much like a hotel room, but it's plenty big enough. He has a walk-in shower, his own bathroom, a little sink, a microwave, and a little refrigerator. He can control the heat and air too. They had an Elvis impersonator that came in, and they had cookies, cakes, and refreshments. They do all kinds of activities here and there. The facility so far is clean, and it's nice. The building is not too old. They don't smell. Sometimes you go into a rest home, and it smells like urine as soon as you walk in the door, but this does not smell that way.

My mother moved to the assisted living facility of Sherry Lyle Elderville. It's quiet and clean, and everybody's been nice. The place looks nice, and I just like the way it feels. I just noticed they don't have a lot of caretakers, as you see at other places, but I think they have around 15 or 16 people that they take care of over there. It's new, I think it hasn't been open for long. The staff is nice and friendly. They also have a salon, washers and dryers, and a little exercise or gym area.

My dad was in the hospital and was apprehensive about going to sssisted living. Administrator Sherry went above and beyond to help me with my dad. She visited him at the hospital and helped him feel welcomed and accepted to the facility as a resident (not patient) and assured him he would enjoy living there. Hes been there for over a month and loves it. Both Sherry and the staff have been so good to him. He never wants to leave.

The nurses are wonderful here but the administrator is horrible! Sherry is horrible! She "tries" to bully me because she has issues to say the least. She does not care about the patients or the family that comes to visit. She screamed at me because I told my mom's hospice nurse about some issues I had with my mom's medicine. She screamed and tried to close the doors so I couldn't leave. I had to physically slide the door open to be able to leave. Something needs to be done or they are going to lose a lot of business.

It was very nice and very clean. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. There are a lot of things and activities that my brother-in-law could have been involved in. They had the church, the lunchroom facility, a piano, a pool table, and cards. They had people that would come around and read to them if they wanted someone to read to them. The dining area was beautiful and huge, and there was a piano over to the side. I was very impressed. The staff during the tour was very helpful in looking at all of the possibilities for getting help financially. He's very forthcoming. The food was very good. We ate there that day. I would recommend it.
