I came from an expensive apartment in Central Florida where the grounds looked poverty ridden, the noise was loud and break ins happened. I have been living in an 2 bedroom independent apartment at Lenox for over 2 months now. I love it here. The grounds are immaculate, there is no noise and I feel very secure with a security guard on the job at night. They have an amazing maintenance staff as well as the front desk and administrative staff. Joining in on some of the activities, I have started to developed friendships with the nice people who live here. My dog enjoys a high popularity here. I'm so glad I found the Lenox.

I went to The Lenox at Merritt Island. The place was huge. There was lots of parking, but if you had a handicapped sticker, you'd have to walk a little distance. The apartment was very small. They had good- sized bedrooms. It was a 2-bedroom place, and each one had a bathroom. They had a huge closet in each one and a good-sized living room with a little patio outside of the living room. The kitchen was tiny, and there was no place for a dining room table other than in the living room. They had sort of a restaurant where people could order food every day, of course, extra. But if you wanted to have a meal there, you could let them know a day before and have a meal. So, that's kind of convenient. Cats were acceptable, but they wanted a $300 deposit and then also $10 a month. They did have another place that had a huge closet when you came in, and that was a little more. Jasmine assisted me during the tour and she was wonderful. The place looked very nice.

Our experience living in here so far is fine. There's a lot of remodeling right now, so at times it's noisy, but otherwise it's fine. The staff is very courteous and we get good meals here, and so far it's good for us. We do our own thing, we have our two bedrooms, a living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. So we really are well taken care of, we have housekeeping and our meals are available to us every day. The staff is excellent as far as I'm concerned, they're always very nice and helpful, there's no problem. The food is not home cooked all the time, but it's still excellent.

My husband and I like it very much. The food and housekeeping are great. I enjoy needlework and my husband independently does model work with wood. We enjoy the games, I go down and listen to music sometimes and we have happy hour on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I like the two-bedroom apartments and you have a choice of two baths or a bath and a half. The bus service is nice. We need some physical therapy and all we have to do is go next door. The staff has been good. They've got nice assortment of food. They could use a few more activities. On the second floor, we have a pool table and activities like poker, Bridge, dominos, and needle club.

I visited and they were wonderful, courteous, and patient. Everything was wonderful. The rooms had giant walk-in closets, but I couldn’t get through the door with my wheelchair; the doors were too small. I’ve never seen a walk-in closet that huge, and there were two of them, but I couldn’t get through the doors. They were like 24-inch doors, and my wheelchair is probably at least 30 inches, so I would have to do some major renovations. They also did not have washer-dryer hookups. The community washer-dryer was a small room without front loaders, and being in a wheelchair, I need a front loader. I had a meal there, and it was excellent. The dining was excellent, and all the residents were very friendly.

My dad is going to go here. Everything, like the atmosphere, is good. The staff is friendly. The facility is great. I cannot say anything bad about it. They offer a lot of activities.
