"The Orchard was really beautiful. When I walked through the front door, it was like walking into an atrium with all the plants and natural light coming in. I felt like my mother would be well taken care of there. They had a lot of activities to get them to socialize with the other residents instead of sitting in their little apartments all the time. They offer a lot for them and I would recommend it to anyone. The rooms had a lot of natural light too, and they were very accommodating for senior citizens. They showed me a studio apartment with a little kitchenette when you walked in the door. You had the option of bringing your own furniture and decorating it as you wanted. It had a lot of safety features in the bathrooms. I fell in love with it. The staff who assisted me with the tour was fabulous. She was very informative and didn't try to hide anything. Everything was laid out on the table, and how things worked. Another thing I liked about it was they take them to WalMart, they take them to different places. They had a chef on staff. The food, from what I saw and was told by some of the residents, was divine. The dining room was beautiful with skylights and it was very open."
