"I toured Concordia Village, and that's where I want to go when I can't live by myself anymore. It is the most expensive place that we toured, but it was also the nicest. It had a saltwater swimming pool, a movie theater, a place to get your hair done, and a little shop where you can buy extra food and all kinds of amenities. The people were very, very nice. The grounds are huge and immaculate. You could have a studio apartment, which is very small, or you could have a one-bedroom, which opens up into a courtyard. It also has flowers and a little garden that is accessible from your room if you have a patio. They also have several spaces for people who want to have independent living. They also have a skilled section for people who need skilled nursing, but we didn't tour that part of it. It was wonderful, and I would like to go there when I have to go someplace. You can bring your car, you could have pet if you want a pet, and they have all kinds of activities. They have planned trips. You're free to come and go as you please, and you're free to have visitors whenever you want. After 8:00 p.m., they have to come through the main door, but other than that, they can come directly to your room from the side passages. They have a swimming pool that is really lovely. It is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a lifeguard; after that, you have to bring your own lifeguard. The food was a "five." They have their own chef who makes special meals. They have really good food."

"Wanted to share that my grandma had a wonderful experience while staying at Lewis Memorial. We felt that the staff always treated her with dignity and respect. Her room was spacious and clean. Our entire family appreciated the care that was provided at Lewis Memorial and would recommend this facility to others."

"My mom moved to Eastland Retirement Community. I have asked her about the food and she says it's all good. The facility seems very clean. Compared to everything else we looked at, there are maybe 1 or 2 other places that we went to that seemed like they were a little more updated than what this is, but it's not old-looking. It's still modern-looking. Instead of going with the more expensive finishes, like laminates, they use carpet. So it's just a different approach. There's nothing wrong with it at all. The people have been nice. They do activities. My mom has mentioned that she's been involved in a few of them, had a good time, and enjoyed herself. The staff is very friendly, any questions I had, they answered. If there was anything that I thought needed to be taken care of, they addressed it and either got it taken care of or helped us out. They've done what they need to get things right. She eats three meals a day and she gets what she needs. So at this point, the value is really good."
