"Country Cottage – Lawrenceburg is probably my favorite. The rooms were a little small, but I like dthem. They have Bingo, a piano, a dining area, and a patio. The staff member I met was very nice. They have a little sitting area. The staff member who showed me around sat down with me, talked to me, and went into great detail."

"Brookdale Columbia was excellent. That's where I would suggest people to go. I was very impressed with it. Whenever you went in, residents were sitting around talking and they were watching TV all together. It seemed like they were happy. The staff during the tour was excellent. She called and she kept me informed and told me that they would be glad to help me any way they could. It was clean. It didn't have an odor. I felt warmness when I went in there. I have heard other people say that the food is good. They showed me one room and it was being painted and cleaned up at the time, because they had just moved a resident out. I just felt good about it. It is an older building, but it looked like it had been renovated some."

"The reason we chose Life Care Center of Centerville is because it has a dedicated dementia unit. Their patient-staff ratio is higher than what you would normally find. Mom has not complained about the food, but I have never tried it. It is located in kind of a rural area, which is the only drawback."

"My Mother, who recently died, was a resident in this Assisted Living facility for five years. Overall, the facility is excellent. The building is less than 10 years old, food is excellent and proper quantity for this sedate population. Staff is excellent and adequate numbers. Involvement from outside institutions, such as Churches is excellent. Price is very moderate.On the fine print side, activities and trips could have been more plentiful. Hopefully this has improved. "

"Keestone of Lawrenceburg was not secure. It's more for senior retirement where people come and go freely. We made an appointment, but no one was there. My daughter and I wandered around for 15-20 minutes before we spotted someone who worked there. The place was not suitable for my mom at all. The staff showed us around the hallway and there were doors that opened out into the backyards of the neighborhood. She said when they go out, the doors lock behind, so they'll have to come all the way around to the front. If a person gets lost easily and confused, they'd still have to come back around. If I was a senior needing a nice place to retire to, someone to do my laundry and cook my meals, and I could come and go as I wanted to, I would move here. It seemed larger and more open and more for a senior living type situation. They had beautiful gathering areas where they could talk, watch TV and do games."

"I was very favorably impressed with The Summit. The facility was clean and easy to get around in. The residents seemed very happy and comfortable. The staff was very cordial and willing to help. Nothing that I needed out of the ordinary, but they would have been available if I did. They had 1-bedroom suites with living and eating/kitchenette area, one bedroom and one bath. They had housekeeping service for the residents. It was a good facility."
