"The reason we chose Life Care Center of Centerville is because it has a dedicated dementia unit. Their patient-staff ratio is higher than what you would normally find. Mom has not complained about the food, but I have never tried it. It is located in kind of a rural area, which is the only drawback."

"My Mother, who recently died, was a resident in this Assisted Living facility for five years. Overall, the facility is excellent. The building is less than 10 years old, food is excellent and proper quantity for this sedate population. Staff is excellent and adequate numbers. Involvement from outside institutions, such as Churches is excellent. Price is very moderate.On the fine print side, activities and trips could have been more plentiful. Hopefully this has improved. "

"Keestone of Lawrenceburg was not secure. It's more for senior retirement where people come and go freely. We made an appointment, but no one was there. My daughter and I wandered around for 15-20 minutes before we spotted someone who worked there. The place was not suitable for my mom at all. The staff showed us around the hallway and there were doors that opened out into the backyards of the neighborhood. She said when they go out, the doors lock behind, so they'll have to come all the way around to the front. If a person gets lost easily and confused, they'd still have to come back around. If I was a senior needing a nice place to retire to, someone to do my laundry and cook my meals, and I could come and go as I wanted to, I would move here. It seemed larger and more open and more for a senior living type situation. They had beautiful gathering areas where they could talk, watch TV and do games."

"I was very favorably impressed with The Summit. The facility was clean and easy to get around in. The residents seemed very happy and comfortable. The staff was very cordial and willing to help. Nothing that I needed out of the ordinary, but they would have been available if I did. They had 1-bedroom suites with living and eating/kitchenette area, one bedroom and one bath. They had housekeeping service for the residents. It was a good facility."

"The Bridge at Columbia was beautiful but expensive. It was a new facility. It was very clean. I talked with some of their residents because I want to know how they like this place and they seemed happy being there. I saw their activities and they were very good. I never did eat there but I saw their menu and I was pleased with it. "

"My mother-in-law was in a rehab in Life Care Center. She loved it there. She even wanted to stay there. The facility was very attractive and beautiful. It also smelled clean. They were always cleaning the place. The staff was awesome. The food was good. She was in a room with another person. She had physical therapy which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her Medicare only paid for her to be there for 21 days. However, she needed to stay there for another two to three months because they said she needed more rehab. When we started self-paying, we were given a very good reduced rate. They were just awesome. "
