"Trustwell Living at Hunters Crossing Place was very nice. They don't have as many people, so it's more of a quiet community, but that's what we were kind of looking for at the time. Everything they offered was very good. They do a Veterans cookout. They take them shopping. They have movie nights, bingo, music, and different activities all month long. The apartments were very nice. They had four different sizes that you could pick from. There were small apartments with kitchenettes. They don't allow cooking or anything like that for safety reasons. The staff was excellent. They were able to answer all our questions. They have a nice little dining area or you can have your meals delivered to your room but there's a small charge for it. People can also pick their meals up and take them back to their rooms."

"We decided to pick The Village, and we will be moving in next month. They have plenty of activities. I talked to several of the residents, and they were very pleased with the place. The staff was very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. The apartments looked a little small, but I think we will just have to down size, and I think we would be very there. "

"This facility met the needs of my Great Aunt through all of the stages of her cancer. She first started in an apartment style room. As her illness progressed, she was moved to a room with more medical equipment, nurses and around the clock care. I would like to note, there are "houses" outside of the main nursing building for people that can still be on their own with limited assistance from the nursing staff, although my aunt never lived in one. I visited the facility many times over the course of her stay. The rooms were clean and she was allowed to decorate the way that she liked (to an extent) in order for it to feel like a home. The nurses were always pleasant and friendly. The facilities were always clean and smelled fresh. The front desk staff followed the guidelines for signing in and signing out each time I would visit and they were always friendly. My aunt did not have complaints about this facility when we asked her. To the best of my knowledge, my aunt enjoyed her time at Hammock Oaks and I would recommend this facility to anyone requiring their services. "

"If I was looking for a residential facility, Mayflower Assisted Living would be one I would consider. The cost is more affordable. I didn't see that many amenities. They have a little game room where they have games, board games or what have you. There weren't any other amenities that I saw as far as having a gym or anything like that. I know they were making some improvements to the rooms. It's a pretty simple facility. I saw a couple of different bedrooms that were available. One of them was a double. It was pretty small, and there was very little storage space or personal space for each person. One was a bit larger, but it was actually occupied at the time. It was a good size. The nearest hospital would be about 20 to 25 miles away. There aren't a lot of restaurants in High Springs. There are a few fastfood places, but not a sit-down restaurant. It would probably be about 10 miles to a sit-down kind of facility. The place looked pretty clean from what I saw. It looked like they kept it pretty clean around there. The little recreation room that I was waiting in was also kind of the cafeteria where they had their meals, and it was clean. "
