"I thought this was a very nice facility, and my grandmother liked it as well. This facility is located in a convenient location in the heart of Pittsburgh, and near the highway, so it's easy for anyone to get to. The staff was very friendly and attentive when we visited, and the residents seemed very happy and busy with activities. We were told there's an activities director on site to help keep the residents active and happy, and that day trips are planned often as well. The food was very good when we there; I'd say the best out of any place we visited. We also appreciated that the rooms were decorated very nice; made to feel more like home than a facility. I think anyone looking for a facility with friendly staff and a home-like feel would like this place very much. "

"Not recommended if you love-one has dementia or short term memory problems. They do not have the patients or time to deal with a one-on-one approach as they told me. As a behavior management, they recommended various types of drugs to keep my mother quiet. They want all their visitors to sit down and be quiet and do what they say - like a grade school type situation. Do what I say or your out! "

"We looked at Pine View Personal Care for my parents. It was a very old country home that looked like an old house that they added on to, and the bedrooms were very tiny. They were cramming two people and a dresser into a room, the bathroom in the hallway was shared by everyone. The setting was nice outside, but it was old. They added on a family room, and I think they had two TVs. It wasn't a good setting for someone with medical issues. They really tried to help me, though."

"I take my wife down to a daycare in Valley Care Adult Day Services - Ambridge. It's open from 6:00 in the morning until 5:30 at night. It's very reasonable. It's only like $62 dollars a day and you can do it by the day. It's not like you sign any long-term contract. They're giving them continental breakfast and they're giving them lunch from the hospital. So far, she seems to be OK with it. The staff members are all very nice. It's very clean. They have puzzles and bingo and stuff like that."

"Life Beaver County is great. My husband is in their program now. He gets hot lunch, they do activities and exercises, and they provide transportation for him. It's in a nice, big building that is very well-equipped. "

"Concordia at Cabot has the cleanest, most caring group of people who truly care about their patients . From rehab to skilled long term nursing the nurses and CNA's and all who work are the best in this area ! Danielle in social services will do everything she can to help answer any questions . I know first hand as my husband was at this facility and I highly recommend! If I could give more stars I certainly would!"
