Island Hospice is very nice. The care staff talks to you and gives you a respite so you can get away a little bit. They come in for four hours 3 days a week to clean my husband up or bathe him. I also hire private care to come in the other four days so he gets someone to help with bathing him six days a week. They also give him his medicines. It's still difficult because things happen at night time and I don't have anyone here. There is a nursing home here in the area but they're $7500 a month and I can't afford that.
