With over 20 years of expereince with the senior population, your loved one is in good hands with me. Treat others as you would want to be treated is my motto. Through professionalism, compassion, knowledge and trust, I will provide a sense of relief and confidence. When might you need a Geriatric Care Manager? You live a distance away from your loved one and worry about their safety and well being. Your loved one wants to remain at home with as much independence as possible and refuses any kind of help. They are in the hospital and you need an advocate to speak to the doctors and discharge planners to ensure appropriate treatments and plans are in place. What assisted living facility or nursing home should my loved one go to? They have particular needs, beliefs, religious affiliations, cultural backgrounds, etc Your loved one is not taking care of themselves nor their home but they won't listen to their family about acquiring help. An advocate is needed for legal and medical visits. Family members have different opinions and would like professional, objective guidance. Is mom or dad ok? You need someone to check on them and let you know what's going on. You need an experienced, well trained, objective professional to evaluate your loved ones quality of life to alleviate fear and concern. There is an emergency in the middle of the night and You can't get there. Is mom or dad receiving the proper care they are paying for at an assisted living facility? Licenses BA in Social Science, MA in Rehabilitation Counseling, CCM - National Certification in Case Management, Nationally Certified Geriatric Care Manager, Notary Public Pricing $80/hour; $350 assessement rate

When faced with having to admitted my mother to an assisted living facility after my father passed, I was at a loss as to how to navigate the waters, especially living in California and being three thousand miles away. Then my mother and I found Jane Korb through our attorney. Jane not only became my eyes and ears in regards to my mom's care but a dear friend and someone my mother came to depend on. Jane was invaluable in communicating to me what my mom needed and also communicating what those needs were to the assisted living facility. Jane goes the extra mile for her clients. It's not just a job to to her and what she provides to families is priceless. I will never be able to repay Jane for all of the love and care she provided my mom

I live in PA, my sister lives in New York, and my Mom is in an assisted living facility in Rhode Island. I have been better able to sleep nights knowing that there is a pair of eyes, ears and someone with a big heart who can check in on my Mom weekly so we know her needs are being met. She recently fell and had to be hospitalized. Jane visited her in the hospital soon after I called to tell her, and she was there at the assisted living facility to get my Mom settled in when she returned to her apartment. That took place on a Sunday evening, and Jane made herself available. I highly recommend her services.
