I had the services of the VNA of Staten Island for over 3 months. The nurses sent to me were professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate in treating my foot wound. I credit them for being a big part of my healing process. They responded quickly to my requests, always prompt and calling if there was an appointment problem. They were also very respectful and concerned when I was in pain.

I've used thus agency 3-4 times over several years. I've found this agency difficult to access without a referral from the hospital. I've found the Physical therapists don't stay for the 45 min. Session. Pt looks to leave your home in 10 mins. They (the agency) acts like there too good for you. Refusing to answer question about starting services, refuse to be held accountable for there actions. Nurses responding to initial cases several days after hospital discharge. Care plans that don't fully reflect patients needs. My mom resided in my living room however the ha was not instructed to dust fur nature once a week Ect.
