United Methodist Communities at Pitman

My dad is in hospice at United Methodist Communities at Pitman. We enjoy the peace and the room and all that kind of stuff, but sometimes I feel that he should have more care from the facility via the nurses that come in there. I'm not there all the time either, but I'm there at night, and I feel like a lot of people don't come by his room enough. It's just hospice. He is on his final journey on the way out the door. The atmosphere is good. He's in a nice, nice room. He doesn't get out of the bed. He's starting to remember things, but he's not hooked up to the tubes and he is not hooked up to nothing. They're just keeping him comfortable. The food is fine for what he needs. The staff that is there is very nice. It's just the way the building is set up. They only have a few rooms, and they don't have a nursing station right there in that area. They have a couple different floors that they take care of. It's COVID, I get it, there's not a lot of workers to cover the amount of area and the rooms and that kind of stuff. It's a nice facility, it's a nice place, it's quiet and that kind of stuff.
