"I used Home Instead - Redlands, CA. I'm blind and I was really impressed as to how the young lady got me around. She was there for me whenever I needed her assistance or anything, whether it be to go in one of my rooms at my home or whether it was to go and get me something out of a refrigerator to eat. I think that the lady of her magnitude should be recognized. I was very, very much satisfied with all that she did in assisting me because I am limited on how I could get about, whether it be in the house or outside. Her name is Stephanie. I was impressed with how she took care of me, how she guided me, how she explained different avenues in my home that I have forgotten about and led me in the right direction. There was so much caring that she showed me even though I can't see. I could feel the kindness and the love that this woman gives all of her patients."

"Addus Healthcare has been a Godsend to my family and I. There was a new director that took over a couple of years ago and the customer service is now exceptional. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for affordable care. They are also contracted with IHSS and provide those services. I know many people that hire their own independent providers. When they call in sick or take a vacation they are left to try to do things for themselves. Addus always has a backup and it is not even surprising for the Director himself to show up to help. Great things are to come for Addus. "

"The caregivers are with my sister 14 hours each day providing meals and assisting with mobility, bathing and daily routines. I contacted the Yucaipa office of Right at Home when I realized that I was unable to provide adequate care for my sister who was in failing health. The caregivers reversed the deteriorating situation. In six weeks, my sister is gaining weight and mobility, is more engaged with her surroundings and is looking to return to some of her previous activities. Full credit goes to the Right at Home staff who are knowledgeable, through and patient but persistent."

"We have mom with Home Instead in Riverside. I prefer Richard, the new owner. He's been the owner for a couple of months now. He has really helped my mother. She has now memory issues and it's very hard to move through and to live your best life. We've had these caregivers since the beginning, and they're just wonderful gals. We really appreciate their help and Richard's help also. I feel that Mom's more comfortable, so I'm more comfortable. A lot of this I feel is directly because of Rich being willing to go the extra mile to help another human being. We need more of this type of individual and not only individuals, but companies. We're working towards more hours, but we're moving slowly. We have four hours on Mondays, nine hours on Tuesdays, 11:30 to 5:30 on Wednesdays, 1:00 to 5:00 on Thursdays, and Fridays 11:30 to 5:30. Home instead has been there for my mom and I and to us, that's everything. They help with putting on their shoes and socks and bathing. Mom can do her own bathing up to a point. She has a hard time with her feet and her legs, so they help with that. If she has a doctor's appointment, they go with me and help me with the rollator. They help with light housekeeping, cooking, and washing of clothes. They do pretty much a lot. Just the ability to sit down and talk with another individual about their lives and about what was important to them, about anything and everything, just the person to confide in. It's been very hot here in California, so we have to find other ways of walking, like going to the mall, so she gets some exercise. She also likes to see other things than the four walls in the house. She has a park directly across the street from the house that they usually take her when they can."

"We used Right at Home Rancho Cucamonga for a 1-day thing. So far, the care they provided was adequate. I was pleased with the caregiver that we had. She was prompt, knowledgeable and caring. I think that the price is too expensive. She administered the medication on time and kept my wife dry and clean. I would recommend this agency to others."

"Families Choice Home Care was professional. My only concern was the weekly billing cycle. I thought that once I paid two weeks in advance I'd get the bill every other week. I talked to Sally from the agency and she said she'd get back with me about that. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. The caregiver was cooperative when I would ask them to do something. They help me with showering and whatnot. I chose them because they're more flexible with their services."

"Homemaker Caregiver Services This agency provided excellent kind and compassionate care to my nearly 90-year old mother. Harpreet, the franchise owner, is very organized and punctual. She does what she says she is going to do and plans ahead to provide steady coverage and backup plans for when a primary care giver may not be available. She also helped making receiving reimbursement for eligible services provided by the agency easier with the detailed records that are maintained. My mom's caregivers, Brianna, Miztli, and Edith were all very excellent and continually treated my mom with care and respect. I highly recommend this agency. At the conclusion of the agreed upon service period, I received a prompt refund of my initial deposit electronically via Zelle. I will definitely use this agency again when the need arises."

"We have been using Synergy HomeCare for just over one year to assist in the care for my mother in law who had feel I her home and broke her lower left leg. She was bed bound for about 90 days. With the excellent care, at 90 years old, she continues to improve in her mobility. Ken was super in ensuring we fully understood their program of shared care. The caregivers have been exceptional, with a shout out to Debbie and Regina (who recently retired) as they developed a very personal relationship with her. The daily cost is very reasonable.."

"I have Synergy HomeCare of Upland caregivers for my mom. They cook, they clean, they dispense medications, they take my mom for a walk, and they can take her to doctor's appointments. The caregivers are excellent. There's one lady, Yolanda, and my mom feels comfortable with her. They chit-chat, they watch Hallmark movies, and my mom enjoys her company. They had a representative come to the house and do a consultation. They were great. They gave us a packet with all the paperwork in it that explained everything."

"From the minute the door opens at Hillsong Senior Living, there's a big sign that says 'Welcome' and there's a ramp for wheelchairs as you're walking in. Then when you come in, it's open. You see a big kitchen that is very clean, modern, and up to date, and the owner has solar panels so that my cousin has air conditioning that is always at the proper temperature. Nobody is sweating or uncomfortable. There's a nice living room and then windows that look out onto a covered patio that had furniture and grass. So, it was pretty to look out on. There were several huge leather chairs that recline and a big television too. My cousin is there for hospice care. Her room is large, she is in a hospital bed, and there's a bathroom that was adjacent to her. All questions that we had to ask were answered by the owner who was there the whole time, Carina. We saw her move my cousin correctly so she doesn't get bedsores. And just her whole attitude was caring and kind. We could hear people talking low, but there were no outbursts or anything. It was peaceful and very clean. She walked us through the kitchen, the living room, and into the backyard. Her husband is a firefighter and I think he also helps keep the place nice. It was very homelike and very welcoming. They prepare the food and they do ask about their dislikes or if somebody is allergic to something. So, it didn't look like they just threw some packaged stuff at them. They had all kinds of activities that would be appropriate if you were still able to do that. She said that relatives or friends are welcome any time. You didn't have to call and say, "We're going to be here between this hour and this hour." Carina said "We are transparent and the families are welcome." That to me said they're not worried about cleanliness, et cetera, because they have it under control."
