We had really good care for my mother through Alabama Hospice of the Shoals, but they couldn't keep nurses because their management was not very good, and their nurses were worked to death. My mom had dementia and Alzheimer's and they had switched her nurse to another nurse and then that nurse wasn't going to stay. So it's like two nurses had left within a short period. And when I would call for night help, the supervisor didn't want to come out unless it was an emergency. She kind of talked me out of her coming. The nurse was good at staying on top of my mom's medicines and everything. It's kind of stressful, but we got everything worked out. However, by the time we got everything worked out, the nurse was leaving.
