We moved my in-law to Brightwood Center- West Virgina because it's close, and we figured that they have good rating, and friends and family can go see her. The staff have all been nice and answered all my questions. I call anytime, and gets an update on her. They are very professional. She is very happy where she's at. The community is very nice and clean. They have an activity place where everybody could go, and they have bingo. She may not be participating a lot because of the dementia and the Alzheimer's that she has but at least she is participating at something, and at least her mind is moving. She has not been there that long but we are really pleased with everything that we have seen.

I was visiting this nursing home because I volunteered to help with a game day for the seniors there. Everyone working there was very kind, and the seniors played games and had a fun day. They were playing games that required physical activity in order to help with their physical therapy. Setup and clean up for the games was surprisingly quick. The building was large and well taken care of. It has plenty of space for everyone there, there is a large area outside for activities that would require outdoor activity, the day I was there everyone had gone outside in order to do activities with water such as throwing water balloons, and the seniors are given excellent care by a passionate and very skilled staff. All the seniors seemed to be happy and enjoying the games that we brought for them. While it may not be the best in the country, I believe that it is a very good environment for seniors to live in.
