I have been staying at Golden Sands for three and a half years now. The staff are 85% good. I have a one-bedroom apartment. It's a bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in shower. There's a little kitchenette with a microwave, an apartment-sized refrigerator, a sink, and cupboards. The meals are provided. They have a living room area. You can have a tray brought to your room, but there's an extra charge for that. They have an activity director. There's bingo, chair exercises, and outings that they go to occasionally, like shopping. You can go to a coffee shop or sometimes to a museum. They play poker. They have a happy hour one day a week. On Tuesdays, they have an hour where they serve alcoholic beverages. They have movies on Saturdays. We have a new social director who just started. Pets are allowed. There is a courtyard in the center of the building. There's also a walking trail.
